SELF SAB-O-TAGE ??? yep.. I did it.. and I am kicking myself in the butt for it. Yesterday was TERRIBLE as far as my diet is concerned. I think I ate that pound right back on. ERRRRRR.
I am done talking about PR.. thanks for letting me rant and rave.. but I am going to get back on track here and pay attention to the task at hand.
I talked to a doctor yesterday and he said that with the hysterectomy, my metabolism may have slowed down ALOT.. so he suggested eating UNDER 1200 calories a day.. YIKES.. thats like two salads..no dressing. LOL So.. no more 5 meals a day.I am down to a bowl of cereal in the morning.. and one for lunch ...and then a healthy dinner. No snacks.. and LOTS of water. Lets see if this works for me. I am so mad at myself this morning that I am going to get on the treadmill for 1 hour before I have to get ready for church.. and then get on again this evening for another hour. I am going to work this pound off before tomorrow mornings weigh in.
Have a Blessed Day!!

maybe it would help as well if you found a new really low calorie things that you could bulk up your food intake without bulking up your calories. I have a few things I eat that help me to get by when I am starving and looking for a quick fix.
Good luck.
You poor thing! Please don't deprive yourself too much! Fill up with cucumber slices and stuff! You could always have five 200 calorie meals, like a salad and a cup of homemade soup. Here's a recipe for WW vegetable soup:
Ingredients
2 medium garlic clove(s), minced
1 medium onion(s), diced
2 medium carrot(s), diced
1 medium sweet red pepper(s), diced
1 medium stalk celery, diced
2 small zucchini, diced
2 cup green cabbage, shredded
2 cup Swiss chard, chopped
2 cup cauliflower, small florets
2 cup broccoli, small florets
2 tsp thyme, chopped
6 cup vegetable broth
2 Tbsp parsley, or chives, fresh, chopped
1/2 tsp table salt, or to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper, or to taste
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice, optional
Instructions
1. Put garlic, vegetables, thyme and broth into a large soup pot. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.
2. Stir in parsley or chives; season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Yields about 1 cup per serving.
I hope this stuff works out with Puerto Rico. What's your best case scenario? Leaving in a month? Whatever it is, I hope you get it.
Take care of yourself!!!
boy you are working hard i fear i do not have such strength kepp up the good thoughts
search your soul sweet tigerlilly, do you really think that you will be able to maintain eating that little for long? And isnt it when we are feeling deprived that we are the most vunerable to pesky binges? I think your dr may be a twat!Any decent nutritional site you visit suggests that for most people, not to mention heavy people, 1200 is the minimum. If your body starts to thinks it's starving it's going to hang on to every kilo with even more tenacity.
But its your life and your body,I shouldnt be so nosey and bossy!!smacks self on hand!
Awwww...don't you fret tigerlilly. The biggest thing to remember is to pull yourself up immediatley after a small stumble. You can't go back and uneat the food but you can plan and make better choices. Just be sure to not deprive yourself. My weigh in is also tomorrow so I am so nervous. I just started this weight loss journey too so I feel we are a sort of kindred spirits. Anyways, I'll be sure to pray for you for tomorrow and for the PR move.
Forget about tomorrow. It's in the past, so don't beat yourself over it. Now just focus on today and then tomorrow. One day at a time. You can do it!!
:D
I believe stress alone hold 2,000
calories. Try and relax and let each day take hold of itself. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not here but today is a gift so enjoy.
I love you MOM
Just try not to stress about it. Everyone has an off day. It will all be ok. And try no to stick to that calorie limit for every long. But it might be just what you need to boost yourself along!
