I had another great day yesterday...that is, until the afternoon when I started sneezing and sniffling. I thought for sure it was a cold comming on, so I drank alot of tea and went to bed early. This morning I am feeling a little bit better, though still a little achey... but my nose has cleared up. Maybe allergies? hmmmm . I may be feeling better but hubby had to stay up with the girls last night and appearently they did not go to bed until midnight, so he is extrememly tired this morning and not in the best of moods. hmph.
If you ever came to my house, you would notice the piles of books I have everywhere. Closets, corners... even the kitchen. I just LOVE books. Anyway, I have a whole bunch of diet books.. all different kinds.. but the one that I picked up yesterday was wanderful. Its Bob Greene's The Best Life Diet. You may recognize the name because he is Oprah's personal trainer. Now I am not a big fan of Oprah, but this guy makes sense! I am going to see how I feel today. My schedule says today is Tae Bo Abs day... but I have such a hard time working out when I dont feel well. It is definatley a day for lots of water and tea and soup! In fact, it feels like a good day to just grab a good book, a pillow and a blanket and relax on the couch. Now if only I could get the girls to play along! LOL Yeah right!

I hope you get to feeling better! I think a lot of people are getting sick (me included!). It's just that time of year. Get some rest and feel better!!!!
Hi Tigerlilly, sorry to hear that you're feeling under the weather. It is hard to feel motivated to work out when you're not feeling well, so don't force yourself if you just need to rest. I've heard of that book and it's supposed to be awesome. Apparently there are (or soon will be) "Best Life Approved" foods in supermarkets that have Bob Greene's seal of approval on them. It definitely sounds like a plan that could work for anyone and work for life, not some stupid fad like Atkins. Anyway, take care and I hope you feel better soon! Good luck with the book...

I'm definitely into Bob Greene. I think the gradual approach in the book makes a lot of sense; it's definitely helped me.
Hey there! Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. But a good book, blanket and tea sounds wonderful. And it's really okay to take off a day from working out if you don't feel well. Trust me on that one. :)

Get well soon sweets! I've been feeling a little sluggish myself, I don't know if its due to the cold weather or that my body's detoxing from all the processed junks .. or a combination of both. I made an appointment to see a naturopathic doctor next week, and am excited to try a different approach to my health issues! I hope the girls don't give ya too much trouble today :)
I'm sorry that you're not feeling well. The idea of cuddling up with a book sounds great. It's definitely one of life's best pleasures for those of us who like books. I like the Bob Green quote. Getting rid of the lbs. while enjoying one's food is one part of a recipe for weight loss success.
Resting when you are sick almost guarantees that you will get well sooner!
